Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality Selects SymphonyCare to Expand Data and Analytics Capabilities
Partnership to Advance Technologies and Improve Reporting Across Wisconsin
MADISON, Wis. December 5, 2019 — SymphonyCare, a leading provider of integrated clinical and claims data solutions, today announced the Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ) selected its WellStack(tm) platform to provide its members more sophisticated data tools that offer the highest caliber of measurement reporting.
WCHQ shares best practices and publicly reports information that healthcare organizations can use to benchmark and compare their performance. Its members include 35 health systems, 325 medical clinics and more than 150 dentists and represent integrated health systems with hospitals and clinics, FQHCs, rural hospitals and independent physician groups. Through the partnership, WCHQ’s members will have access to a robust business intelligence interface with easy-to-navigate quality reports and data extracts. Also, WCHQ will receive tools that enable a faster turnaround time to develop, test and implement new measures.
“As a member-driven organization, WCHQ is always eager to adopt new tools that will expand our data and analytics capacity in ways that will benefit our members,” said WCHQ President/CEO Christopher Queram. “SymphonyCare’s platform and data integration expertise allows us to meet our members’ needs now and well into the future.”
WellStack, SymphonyCare’s next-generation value-based care platform, is an EMR-agnostic enterprise data warehouse that manages multiple data sources and provides a single source-of-truth to produce key cost and quality reports, visualizations and intelligence on demand.
The target go-live date for the platform is summer 2020 with the first reporting period on the new platform to be Fall 2020.
“WCHQ is an invaluable asset to providers, payers and insurers in Wisconsin, but it is also a benefit to this region of the country as integrated health systems utilize the data to benchmark clinical performance across state lines,” said SymphonyCare COO Sal Braico. “We look forward to a partnership where we can have a direct impact on the quality and affordability of healthcare.”
Headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, SymphonyCare is an innovative healthcare data management company that partners with organizations looking to improve data quality and efficiency of care. In addition to the WellStack platform, SymphonyCare’s ecosystem includes Empower(tm), a 2015 Edition ONC-certified patient portal and engagement suite, Navigate(tm), an award-winning population management suite, and MedBeacon(tm), a comprehensive medication management suite. Together, these sets of tools enable organizations to improve patient engagement and care quality in addition to clinical, financial and operational outcomes.
